Whats going on with me?

Hi I'm 20 year old male, Can you please assist me?

On Feb 8th almost 4 weeks ago I went to a strip club with some friends, they "treated me and i had plenty lap dances with some strippers, which in turn made my penis sore from all the gyrating...later on that nite i also had Protected Sex and Protected Oral Sex as well.....during the oral sex while the girl was jerking me off the condom tore and so i replaced it with a new one....we eventually stopped because i couldn't reach an orgasm ( penis wasn't really up to it and i guess i didn't feel comfortable doing it with a stranger...sigh) I got home extremely tired and went straight to bed ( without showering, which i regret) next day came and i masturbated then decided to take a shower to discover that under the head of my penis under the the ring part had a little red spot and it was just a little bit sensitive, so i showered with an odorless soap as not to cause irritation. the redness went away after a few days (doctor said it most likely was caused by all the friction)

1st march I realised that my penis started to tingle AFTER urinating, my lymph nodes were slightly swollen but didnt hurt when pressure was applied (sometimes) and  like an on/off stinging sensation in my groin area so i went to the doctor thinking i had a UTI....I told my doctor everything had a urine test and it came back negative for any UTI...so he examined my groin area, took a look at my penis and said it looked healthy and fine and that the burning cud be a result of a bacterial infection and put me on Ciproflaxcin and Ibuprofen this was March 4th..I also had a few bumps show up one on my leg and one on my foot beneath my knee which appeared to be mosquito bites (I live in the tropics and they are LOTS of mosquitoes lately in my house :S ) but those bumps have disappeared like normal....

March the 7th the burning sensation after peeing has ceased but i still have slight stinging in my groin area every now and then.

I finished my Ciproflaxcin on the 10th

Its March 12th now and most of the stinging sensation has gone...now i'm left with my feet feeling rather weak from both my legs all the way down, right now my right leg feels kinda numb around the Chen area and sometimes my feet are cold. When it appeared as tho I was getting better, When I heard or thought about STD's or Sex for that matter I start to feel  the symptoms coming again :S

I don't know if it matters but I've been recently under ALOT of stress since that sexual encounter, i tested my Blood Pressure this morning and it was 134/81 with a PR of 79

Is it possible that I have contracted Genital Herpes? When would be a great time do go get a blood test? Are these any symptoms?

Hi Grace, Got back my results today - All Tests NEGATIVE.

I've been doing some research on my own ( I know you said not to ☺ ) and I think the problem could be Prostatitis. You see I mostly feel a burning sensation in my groin/thigh region when i'm sitting or leg pain when I'm idle, I've also had some back pain. The burning sensation after urinating went away after the 7 days of the Cipro but I think that prescription was maybe too short and the infection did not fully heal. Another reason why I think It may be related to my Prostate is because this one afternoon I was on my way to work on the bus and the vibrations from the bus were driving me crazy and cause irritated pain in the groin... like I wanted to urinate or my penis wanted to discharge something...when I got to a bathroom and checked...nothing! It seem to be irritated by vibrations... like even when I play my music loud and theres bass from the sub...

What you think?

Hi Grace just leaving you an update and a few questions if you can answer them...please :)

I called and got the results from my tests, the only one that was finished so far was the HIV and that came back Negative Praise Jesus. So I'm waiting to see the rest Of results probably on Monday hopefully with ALL Negative results.

I still have occasional burning in the leg/groin area. And Ive also developed pain in my throat, It doesn't hurt when I swallow, eat, drink normally...but if I hold my head down as if I'm looking toward the ground really hard and turn to the left it hurts to swallow. I can't find any sores in my mouth or throat that could cause such pain. I must mention that I've been doing some exercises  lately which involved head/neck rotations...I tried to piece the pain with the exercise but I can remember I had inhaled lots of smoke sometime last week due to someone burning trash and I do suffer from sinus problems. I could also feel my sinuses dripping but by the colour of the mucus which was clear It wasn't infected so I was wondering if it could have still cause a "sore throat" or could it be a herpes ulcer/blister somewhere in my throat??? That's my question.
Most likely it was sinus related because my ears and stuff were blocked up.

Another question are there lymph nodes in my neck near my throat which I would not be able to feel with my hands that can be causing such pain from any sort of infection?

I've also had burning feeling in my shoulder like in my legs mostly the left one and a little pain under the pit which I thought was lymph nodes but I couldn't feel any bumps or anything in the arm only muscle like string :s

I also read that Prostatitis can cause some of these symptoms that I'm experiencing so I'm gonna mention ti to my doctor next time I go.

I also bought some TWINLAB Whey Protein, as I said I'm exercising and hopefully it'll help with these annoying muscle pains :)

I'll keep you up to date with the results of the next set of tests. I'm gonna keep praying.

My advice is - get the heck off the computer!!  You are just adding to your anxiety about this by surfing the web and spending so much time online. Take a week and don't read anything about std's. Enjoy the spring weather if it's nice where you are at and take walks. Go shopping.  buy a new cookbook ( or crack open an old one ) and cook like you are cooking for 10 all week and invite friends and family over. do anything but sit and obsess about std's and your genital area!!!

Yes, anxiety can drive you nuts....lol.

Well I surely hope and pray that everything is okay with my body...I Pray! I've been to the doctor again who sat and heard me out...I told him about the pain, the stinging etc in my groin and legs, the red bumps that show up then disappear..he even examined my penis and groin area again...Nothing, there's no pain when I apply pressure to anywhere but yet still they are these stinging sensation...Sometimes I try to imagine if these stinging sensation ever were present previously...I'm so flustered I can't remember. I explained to him how and when everything happened. He told me that there
doesn't seem to be anything wrong with me and that it's all in my head...and that I need yo relax and take it easy..try to put the past behind me...I really try to relax but it's soo hard not to focus on this topic. He sent me for some blood test which should be back within 3-4 days. For Chlamydia, Herpes IGG and HIV PHLEB RPR and these are gonne be my first tests ever. So he prescribed some medication which he said should help me to relax...My Blood Pressure is now 149/89 a jump from 134/81 :| So the wait is on.

What made it worst is that I've been all over the web searching and persons with these type of symptoms have been tested positive for Herpes so I guess that's what's got me going crazy as well.

I mean can Anxiety drive you this nuts? To actually make you experience these type of symptoms?? If so then the mind must reallly be a powerfull thing.

Oh and I really want to Thank You Grace for all your responses and help. I'll let you know what's up in a few days. I'm just gonne try and chill till then and Pray some more.

I'm not sure how many more times you need to hear that this isn't herpes or a std causing these symptoms. If you are needing more reassurance than this, follow up with your provider tomorrow with a proper exam.

Okay so it's now 14th March and my legs are feeling somewhat weak/heavy difficult to describe. I've also had a few more bumps show up, appear as a mosquito bump itchy and red. Crazy thing is one appeared yesterday on my left thigh and within a just over an hour the bump dissappeared :| they don't last long and they just itch.

When Im active walking around/running/dancing etc I don't notice this leg feeling. Sometimes when I'm sitting watching TV I don't feel it either. But when I lay in bed or use the computer I feel this way.

You know when you want to use the bathroom really bad and it's being prolonged and your feet start to feel weak? Well that's how it feels. And I've realized that I've been going to the bathroom more than often, not too much to be alarmed or nothing unusual just more than I usually do.

i highly doubt that any of this is std related.

Can any of this be related to herpes or an STD that you may know of?

WOW, I now came from the shower, before going had minor pain in both legs...took a hot water shower to see if that would have helped...it didn't really, so I proceeded to turn off the hot water and take a cold shower to finish off...When I did that the cold water did something to my legs I had a great sensation all through my legs all the way down it was somewhat painful not like a "pain pain" I dunno how to best describe it :(

It feels normal now back to how it was before :S

I really need some input on this I'm Scared :( *sniff* I feel like hiding away from the world :(

I pray each time I sleep/wake the symptoms go away

An evening this week I've even had a sore appear at the side of my tongue about an inch from the tip that on first discovery I almost fainted :| after that I've gotten more and more paranoid, apparently it turned out to be a Canker Sore...which I've read sometimes are stress related..I previously had them..like if i bite my tongue or from aggressive brushing with certain Colgate toothpaste but I never paid them this much attention so I wasn't too sure what it was at first..the Canker sore cleared up within a few days tho.

Anyhow I'm gonna try really hard to try an  forget about it and live my life the right way....I'm not the type of person to just have sex with strangers I wasn't brought up that way..I've also been feeling alot of guilt since this episode and I cant find out what my friends get from this type of life, I really hope that alot of people stop and think about what they do before they actually do stuff.

From all this reading (paranoia)  about STD's I've come to realize that it's sooo easy to contract an STD/STI and living a wild lifestyle doesn't pay off.

(1) One question...Is it possible to contract Herpes from just skin to skin contact, if me nor the other person doesn't have any broken skin whatsoever?

If so how does it get into the skin? Through the pores?

showering after sex doesn't help reduce risk of std's if that was why you regret not doing so.

This was protected sex so the risk was too low to worry about herpes.

Everything that you've mentioned sounds like stress/anxiety than anything else.
