herpes symptoms would come and go with clear periods of no symptoms at all. you would not have symptoms constantly.

no they do not. recurrences will last only a week or so and heal on their own even without treatment.
Hello grace I got another question its been a bump in the tip of my urethra for bout 3 months now do herpes stay in the same spot and is always active
Ok thanks for your help grace
both of your results are positive and are over the false positive cut off range. thank you for posting them so we could be sure!
continue to follow up with an urologist as needed. this isn't a herpes issue.
Yes I live in the US but the test results doesn't have a negative range it just has a star by the numbers
are you in the US? what's the negative range of your blood test? it's usually mentioned under the results numbers.
Grace I got the results hsv 1 lgG 11.51 hsv 11 lgG 7.62
Thanks for the response grace I go back to the Dr. In bout a week so soon as I get them I will post them for you and thanks again
that doesn't mean that your symptoms now are due to herpes. did they do any other testing? Herpes won't cause discharge like that.
if you can get a copy of your blood test results to post here, I'll gladly look at them for you. All I need are the numeric results - e.g. hsv1 igg 5. 3 and hsv2 igg 4.9 or whatever they are. that way we can know if you were properly tested and if you need further confirmatory testing or not.
grace
Thanks petal for the answer but I went to the doc and got my blood drawn it can back positive for herpes 1 and 2
You have to pay to post on the doctor's forum.
This does not sound herpes related, but you need to be seen if concerned.
