internal herpes outbreaks

What are symptoms of an internal herpes outbreak? Would you have discharge? If so what color would it be? I am having what I feel is an outbreak my Vulva is very red and burns no bumps or sores but I have had some white discharge and I had sex and it was kinda painful. (before I realized I maybe having an outbreak) I am concerned that its inside of me... I also just started taking birth control pills could this be causing the pain?

I will say that outbreaks can be so mild that they dont notice any sores but they are there.

Hi, topical irritations with no sore developing would not be herpes related. If you have a white discharge from a yeast infection, since its fungal in nature it could cause irritations as your describing.
