tingling at the end of an outbreak?

Another question...I am at what I believe (and hope) to be the end of my first HSV-2 outbreak. It's been a month since the first symptoms started (itching and burning during urination). I got several sores around my vagina and anus. I'm pretty sure they've all cleared up but I now have this horrible, awful tingling sensation around my vagina, anus and the back of my upper thighs. Is it normal to have the tickling, tingling sensation at the END of an outbreak? And when will it go away? It's torture! Thanks a lot for any help!
