After LAVH having nightmares

Just curious if anyone else in this forum after having hysterectomy was having nightmares every night right after the surgery?

I seem to be having VERY vivid, strange, scary, and weird nightmares since having my surgery. It's not just once a night, it's more like two, three times a night. Sometimes I wake up crying and sometimes I wake up screaming and yelling. These are so bad that I am almost afraid to go to sleep at night now.

Thanks Treebee!

Last night wasn't so bad. I remember having one dream, but it was nothing like a nightmare. My hubby also says it could be related to the anesthesia. I had surgeries before, but I never remember having nightmares like this. Hopefully it will stop soon.

Thanks,
Kathy

I don't remember the dreams but I would wake up scared and very anxious. It lasted less than a week and I think it must be related to the anesthesia or maybe even the pain pills. I sure didn't like the feeling though and hope you don't have them for long!
Take Care,
Teresa
