Food Log Tracker

How do you delete or modify a food item in your "Show My Foods" section?  I want to make it easier to locate items by more familiar names to me or to remove a food that iI know I will never eat again.

Many thanks Emily, found I found it now.

I must be blind to have missed the "My Foods" at the top of the food diary page. I was always going through the "Show my foods" on the edit meal page :)

Hi there -

http://www.medhelp.org/food_diary/manage_foods/716667?personal_page_id=2404075

Try that link.  It should take you directly to your foods list.  From there, if you click on an item, you will see the nutritional info for that food appear on the right.  At the top of that info, you will see Edit and Remove from My Foods.

I hope that helps, but please let us know if you have further questions.

I don't see any "Edit" or "Remove" links when I enter the food list via "Edit meal" and "Show my foods".

Can you give me an example of the URL behind the Edit button so I can figure out the path myself?

Hi there -

If you go to your food list, and then click on an item, you will see "Remove from My Foods" at the top.  You will also see "Edit", and can edit your foods there.  If someone else has used your food in their tracker, you won't be able to edit any nutritional values.

Let us know if you need further assistance.
