Is there any one to contact if you are worried about someone you have been talking to. I know everything is private and that is good, but if you need to know if someone is ok, is there someone to ask.

There isn't anything we can do, but if you send someone a PM, and they have their email notifications set so they get an email when they receive a PM, they will know that you sent it.
You might also try making a post in the community you were both part of. Someone else might know if the person is ok.
