Diet diary

I have a question.  I downloaded the application my diet diary in order to track my habits. I started two weeks ago and I had in the beginning 1200 calories per day. I noticed after that the calories slowly started to decrease,  ending up today with just 788 calories.  I would like to know why? If it will continue to decrease I will end up eating too less and I cannot call that healthy. I know the purpose is to loose unwanted weight but the most important is to have a balanced weight and a healthy body.  I will like to know what can I do to stick with my initial calories from when I started.  I know in order to loose weight you should drop 1000 or 500 calories from what normally you consume.  I dropped 500 because I want to take this progressively. I am not in fast weight loosing because I prefer to do it slowly and eficient than fast and to gain everything plus back.

Yes, that's it - sorry wasn't checking.  Yes, it always goes back to the initial weight instead of putting in the weight from the day before.

Hi there -

It does seem to be a new issue, and we are looking into it. According to your chart, the issue is in the display of the initial weight, as it is recording it correctly.

Is that correct?

Thanks, and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

I have the same problem with my weight always going back to initial value.  It didn't do this until about 4 days ago.  Did something change?

Hi -

Thanks for responding! We are checking this out as a bug. Please be sure to be eating enough calories to sustain your daily activity. 788 calories is likely not enough, so your goal of 1200 a day is far better.

Thank you for your time.  It still continue to decrease although I respected the calories every day. Also when I put my new weight when I log off from the application it, when I log back in it shows me the old one. I am thinking probably that's why the calories continue to decrease everyday.

Hi there -

Can you tell me if this was indeed a goal/date issue? If it was, had your goal date passed already?

If it wasn't a goal/date issue, can you let us know?

Thanks!

Hi there -

Check your goal dates and weight. It could be that your date is rapidly approaching, and if you haven't been dropping weight, or haven't updated it, the app is recalculating to reflect that.

I hope this helps, but if that's not the case, then let us know.
