Apparently there were problems with some patients having heart complications.

I didn't realize they took it off the market. I used Zelnorm one time. 10 minutes after I took it I ran to the bathroom with bad stomach pain and diahharia and it set off the pains that I have that the doctors call IBS. Told the doc and he said to discontiue it. They didn't do me any good. Pretty much harmed me more. Left them alone. I do not experience too much IBS after my gallbladder was removed. Pretty much took away alot of stomach problems I had. Years ago when I was 13 I was diagnosed with ulcertative colitis that supposibly left me with IBS,
