cramping or spasms

does anyone know if liver disease causes cramping or spasms in both legs

my last post was to jilal about cramps if eny one comes up with some thing better let me now  wen quinine pills  was legal that helped you can find quinine it in tonic water

the only temporary releaf  i found was ib profan but that is so un safe for us hepsters   i get a massage every day and try not to wiggle my toes at night and that makes a big difference

Yes. Cramps can be a complication of cirrhosis of the liver. The true cause is not known. Sometimes cirrhotics who are taking diuretics can cause an imbalance of sodium and potassium which can lead to cramping. Other times it can be other imbalances of electrolytes caused by poor absorption of nutrients because the liver is involved in processing.
