can elevated ALT be from antibiotics?

My ALT has never been high. Now it is 60, the range is 9-48. Strange. The only difference is for the last three months I've been on doxy, ceftin and flagle. Has anyone heard of this happening?

Sorry for the other two posts, my computer is having issues. And I can thank Lyme for my lyme brain tonight! LOL

I've been on heavy antibiotics for lyme tick treatment. I think I herxed for almost 2 months on ABX which is the return of symptoms before you get better.

Can antibiotic raise ALT? Waiting for my Lyme Literate MD to answer. I retest in one month.

No alcohol for 3 months, and never drank hard in my life.

Any info is appreciated.

Here is another.  Sorry I wasn't saying that you were drinking just trying to say that different things can affect a test.  Here is another article.
I hope it helps

Hello, there are  things that can affect the liver enzymes. i.e. if you had a drink the day before the test.  Anything you eat or drink has to be processed by the liver.  Saying that I did find an article about antibiotics and the liver.  I hope this helps you
