3 nodule 2 @ 1cm 1@ 1/2 cm

I was recently in the hospital because of syptoms (symptoms) that felt like a heart attack. They ran several test on my heart which all came out good. However that spotted 3 nodules on my upper right lobe close to my broncus (sp?). They did a  bronch something biopsy, when doing this they punctured/colapsed my lung. I haven't had a problem w/ that as far as I can tell. So far all the tests have come back negative, they did a wash and that fluid showed no cancer cells too. What can this be from? I did have a very bad lung infection in Jan which I took 3 different antibitics for and it still took abour 6 weeks to get rid of. Do these nodules turn to cancer often? I go to see the lung doctor on May 3rd , he's been on vacation since I had my bio done. ANy info or suggestions you may have please let me know.
