How long to get lung bopsy results

Having a needle aspirarion biopsy of left lung 2/14/13, how long does it takke to get pathology resulta?

How are you? How was the biopsy? While the procedure itself takes 30 - 60 minutes to perform, laboratory analysis usually takes a few days depending on several factors. If  a good sample of tissue was obtained, results are usually out within 2-3 days. However, this may take longer depending on the laboratory guidelines or whether more than one pathologist wishes to review the results. Take care and do keep us posted with your results. Best regards.
