My friend came to UAE on maid visa recently and got screened by the Abu Dhabi's Disease Screening and Prevention Center for various infectious diseases (HIV, TB etc). They took her chest X-ray and declared her unfit by saying that her x-ray is showing old TB spots. So we took her to a private clinic and got her x-ray done again. I am attaching the image of her x-ray here. Please, review the x-ray image if it really includes something to worry about or whether we can use it in her defense so that they will consider her again for re-check. I will really appreciate your prompt reply! Thanks.
How are you? Without direct physical examination, medical history correlated with the x-ray result, it would be difficult to evaluate medically your friend's status. With personal history of pulmonary tuberculosis, old spots or scars may indeed be observed after treatment in succeeding chest x-ray. With regards to employment clearance, many factors are usually considered including the type of work, diagnostic test results and medical history of patient. As with other international employment, stricter rules are usually applied. Take care and do keep us posted.
