Lung mass biopsy came back as pneumonia...but there are 4 masses on the ct scan.

My dad has been in the hospital for cerebral vasculitit and severe headaches, HBV and is a long time smoker. He had another ct scan done and he had 4 large masses on the scan. The ct scan 6 months ago showed 2 11x15 mm nodules and now they seem to have grown after he was put on Pretnizone.They biopsied one mass and it came back as pneumonia. Can that be all? He is really sick and lathargic so I know he does have pneumonia but should we not be concerned that this isn't the only thing wrong with his lungs?
