lipod pneumonia and 100s of changing lung nodules.

lipod pneumonia and 100s of changing lung nodules.

I am a 50 year old woman. In 2009 a CT scan revealed a spiculated mass and hundreds of bilateral nodules. The mass was thought to be scar tissue from past infections. The nodules have been ditzels or to tiny to biopsy. In 2009 I was also diagnosed with lipid pneumonia during a lavage. A brief lung history would be asthma, allergies and infections. A sweat chloride in 1984 showed borderline cystic fibrosis. I have had over inflated lungs for years. I have a history of tumors and cysts. In 2009 I also had a in plant rupture from a preventive breast reconstruction. The leakage filled my chain nodes in my chest. My most recent cat scan Feb 2011 has now shown again that my nodes are changing. I have an appt. to see if my nodes they are large enough to biopsy. My question is could lipoid pneumonia cause hundreds of lung nodules. I found an article of a woman with a very similar history as mine. They are suggesting that they expect the cause of her 100s of nodules to be lipoid pneumonia. I have the same lung symptoms all my life. Isn't it possible that these nodules have been there many years and are benin.
