i lost my baby at 18 weeks and had to deliever him is it normal to bleed a few days and stop and it start up again????

I'm sorry you lost your baby,  Tina.

Yes,  it is normal postpartum to bleed and then stop and then next day or so bleed again,  especially if you've been doing more vigorous activity.  Slow down and take it easy,    and the bleeding will likely stop.

so sorry for your loss! I lost a little girl shortly after birth and it is hard.

You will have a normal post partum phase with is around 6 weeks. It may not last that long but it may, and you can stop and start like RockRose said. If you bleed to much more then a period then go to the dr or ER and if it gets heavier one day then it means you need to rest more and you are doing to much.
