2nd Trimester questions...

Hey girls...
I'm just about 20 weeks and for the past two nights...around 5pm i get these strange pains in my belly and lower back. I'm not sure if it is gas or maybe i'm just tired at the end of the day(i have a 14 month old..and am up and down with her 24/7). I just feel cramps/aching every now and then...but not like contractions or anything. When i lie on my back..which is not too often...it is very uncomfortable too...

Also...i know i have mentioned this b4 and have seen this question posted..but have any of you had an odor 'down there'...
I have the 'normal' clear discharge that comes with pregnancy....
my doc says the odor is normal and some women get it while preggo.

Anyone experience these?

probably a combi of gas and seeing to a 14 month old i'd say, plus remember you are starting to strectch alot more now to make way for baby. i have been getting similar crampy achey (achy) pains ( i am currently 21w 5d)
as for a smell yes i do have distinct odour accompanied with pregnancy but had the same with my other 2 kids too.

Yeah...you're right...i guess it's just my body telling me to slow down...(and to watch what I eat)
I do remember have this odor with my dd...ugh....it's gross!

the pain could be your round ligaments softening and stretching.. I think that is pretty common for second trimester..

I hadn't noticed any changes in smell until the other day, I woke up late for work and because I had an early meeting, I had to skip my shower.  I changed undies and was even wearing a skirt, so everything was getting plenty of air, but when I went to the bathroom, I noticed a distinct odor coming from "down there".... lol as you put it..  I guess it just comes with the territory!!
