ANSWER versus Clearblue Easy OPK's

So here is my experience just so you all can use it if needed.

Yesterday was cycle day 14 for me. I was expecting to get my LH Surge. So I did some testing:

7am: Tested with Answer - No surge (not even slight)
3pm: Tested with Clearblue Easy - Got positive surge (looked like it may have just started)
5pm: Tested again with Answer - No surge
10pm: Tested just for kicks with Answer one more time -very slight surge

This morning: Day 15
7am: Tested with both...VERY OBVIOUS surge on both now.

So for me it looks like Clearblue Easy just detected my surge earlier. Answer did actually work...on actual surge day though.

I think answer tests in general including pregnancy are unreliable.  Last week I used two dollar tree tests and thought it might be positive and then used and answer that said it was negative .  then used a clear blue easy digital on Saturday and BFP.  I think the dollar tree were positive.  Just thought I'd share.

A lot of people lately have posted that they dislike Answer brand.  I personally only use Clear Blue these days(dr's orders!)

Dollar tree, though cheap, have been said to be one of the best and most accurate out there for pregnancy. If you go to peeonastick.com there is some very valuable information on both OPK and HPT's.

OK with these OPKs remember: you need to be having some fun before the kits show the surge (about 5 days before, actually!)  That is what we did based on medical advice, and voila!  Here we are 13 wks pg!  Good luck- can't wait to hear about it!

Surging today..but  we BD'd...yesterday am, the day before and this morning. So far so good!

i got a surge from fmu from clearblueeasy on the 18 answer no until the 23 at 2pm after woke i got surges from both and in the evening its weird best of luck to you. God Bless!
