Does anyone know if lower strength birth controls, such as Ortho Micronor, are good for women w/ high blood pressure? I had to stop taking ortho tri-cyclen do to high BP.

Hi there I don't really know anything for sure, but I didn't want you too go without an answer. I am no expert, but I am a paramedic, and I have run into women who I know had high blood pressure (marginal) and were on the pill.
Unfortunately I don't know which type. How high does your BP normally run, and was it high off the pill as well, or just while on it?
Your doctor should be able to recommend you something and if he doesn't seem to care get a second opinion. Sorry if I am rambling!  Good Luck!
