someone told me it would be a straight toss up as to what our baby will come out looking like. someone said it could come out really dark. or really light. but im thinkin neither one of us is dark and yeah im light but not pale.
most people say the baby looks like either their mom or dad. so will our baby look like either or a cross between either? or be a straight toss up
you have the ultimate in surprise babies.
any child can be as light as the lightest ancestor (back many many generations) or as dark as the darkest ancestor. statistically you have a 25% chance of a totally white looking baby, a 25% chance of a dark baby, and a 50% chance of a middle colored (dunno what you wanna call it... light brown i guess) baby. realistically though, youll never know till its born, and even then skin pigments can change a lot in the firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc year or so just like eye colors usually change. by the time your baby is one youll know what you have....
hope you get what you want, but im sure your baby will be beautiful no matter which shade it turns out
oh and i guess i should say i got a surprise when my puerto rican child turned out to be blonde with blue eyes and snow white skin... go figure genetics is a riot... lol
It's really a toss up. My husband is half japanese. His mom is white with blond hair. His dad is 100% Japanese. My brother in law looks Japanese, but my husband doens't. He has light brown hair and brown eyes and his skin is regular white I guess. I also have brown hair and light skin. (I'm white) And we have two kids with almost black hair and dark brown eyes, and dark skin. Not black, but looks like they have a tan all year round. And my other two kids have really really fair skin with blond hair. yes, all 4 of them are mine and DH. A lot of people doubt it since they look SO different from each other. So it's looks like it will be a suprise what your baby will look like. It was always fun trying to guess what our babies would look like. But either way I think your baby will be beautiful!
I had twins in one of my preschool classes that were gorgeous blond haired, blue eyed, light skinned girls. Mom and dad were both mixed but were both very dark. The girls both took after their maternal grandmother and paternal grandfather!
