Bleeding after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage about 3.5 weeks ago. Passed it natural, I was about 8 weeks and u/s showed remaining tissue, wasn't sent for a d&c I passed the tissue etc...bled for about 9 days and slowed down over those 9 days, with little spotting here and there for another week or so then totally stopped spotting. Started bleeding exactly 3 weeks after I miscarried. Bleeding started Monday and felt like a period, passed a pretty big clot with heavy bleeding, then went back to regular "period" bleeding. Tuesday passed another clot, not as bad as Monday, still bleeding like a period. Today passed a very large clot with heavy bleeding....after the clot was passed the bleeding slowed down. Is this normal after having a miscarriage? Is this even my period?
