First, let me say how sorry I am. I know this is a hard time for you. I experienced s mc at 6 weeks back in July. I chose to not have a d&c, and did not take the medication either, so my experience is slightly different. However, my bleeding persisted, on and off, for almost 2 months.
If you are concerned, I would go see your dr, but I do think that the amount of time it takes a woman to pass everything may vary.
I had a missed miscarriage in Sept of 03 and I did have a D&C however they did not get everything and I started bleeding and cramping really bad and had to go for another D&C in Oct of 03. After my 2nd D&C the bleeding practically stopped. I think I would check with your dr just to be sure everything is out. That could be why you are still bleeding. Good Luck and I am sorry for your loss.
The medication that you mentioned can cause this problem. Did your doctor do an ultrasound after your miscarriage? This would show if there was any retained tissue. I'm sorry that you have had to endure all of this. I hope that you are on the road to recovery soon!
