Body Lotion

Hey everyone,

Just curious if anyone had any information on what types of body lotions are deemed to be safe during pregnancy.
I have been told that there are many you can not use because they are not natural and get into your blood stream and only a select few that would be ok.
Is there really any truth to this?

i never heard that. i used a lot of different lotions when i was pregnant. everything except self-tanners or bronzing lotions. but im sure a safe bet would be to stick to the cocoa butter lotion they sell for stretch marks. its a great lotion whether you're pregnant or not. i use it still to this day and i had my son 9 months ago :o)

I am using Udder Cream or something like that. It keeps your skin very moisturized. But as far as lotion in general goes, I think they are safe.

I had purchased The Made from Earth Aloe & Jojoba Creme Therapy when I was pregnant and fell in love with the product.

Its organic and chemical free - and can be used as a preventative lotion for stretch marks.

This bottle is huge and will probably last me about 4 months (I use it every day in generous amounts).
