Burning sensation in c-section scar

Hello, I get a really bad burning sensation in my c-section scar 2nd day of menstrual. I visited my OBGYN and he said it seemed like endemetriosis and told me to continuosly tke my birth control pill and not have a period. To me this didn't seem right but of course the pain does not come when i do not have my period. I seen my family doctor and I told him what was going on and that I did not want to be on the birth control pill my hole life I am getting older. He suggested I go see a surgeon. I have an appointment next week, but I was wondering if anyone had gotten any resolution if they had this same issue. Please advise.

Maybe you should label your post differently, mentioning endometriosis and surgery.  You might get more help that way.  Good luck finding answers!
