Chelly--insulin?

Did you ever get your insulin ? worked out with the insurance co?  You might be able to get on a different type that is covered.

i did get the insulin and my insurance is partially covering it after much screaming yelling (actually just asking nicely)lol. my doctor faxed a form to them staating there was no alternative that he found acceptable.

i am taking humulin n and humulin r once a day in morning. tomorrow makes a week. my blood sugar seems to have normalized. i have had some lows...it's tough trying to figure out this whole eating on schedule thing.

Just worried about ya.I'm glad they're partially covering it, but its amazing that it isn't fully covered.

i got them down to 37 for one type and 40 for the other. it is pretty frustrating when they will cover things like tylenol 3 at my usual 10 dollar co-pay then not want to cover insulin at all. poor life long diabetics must have such a hard time dealing with this. .

And the glucose strips!  I almost fainted!  Our insurance doesn't cover them at all.  $65 for 50 strips!
