Cramping during pregnancy ALOT

by tjmartens, Aug 03, 2008 01:17PM
okay I am 28 weeks pregnant. when I was about 23 weeks I went into the hospital because I felt like I was having some contractions and I also had severe menstual like cramps and lower back pain. They told me I was just dehydrated. My dr. said that mentrual like cramping is normal just as long as I don't bleed or have hard long lasting contractions, but it sure doesn't feel normal. Since then I have been drinking a lot more fluids but the lower back pain and cramping continues. This is my second pregnancy and I have a 20 months old. Has anyone experienced these same symptoms?
