Early Pregnancy

by diamond320, Nov 06, 2007 06:16PM
This is my first pregnancy..I have very irregular cycles...on 10/24 my pregnancy test was +. My HCG level was a 399...progesterone was 13. on the 10/25 HCG was 582...I was given suppositories to help progesterone....10/29 HCG was  2552 and progesterone was 12.8...dr increased dosage....11/01 HCG 4838 and progesterone was 17.2....11/06....ultrasound found gestational sac with egg, no fetal pole or heart tones in uterus, they say I must be too early but HCG was 5138 and progesterone was over 20.. so now I dont kno wat to expect with this slow rising HCG and good progesterone level....I was told that my levels are good...Is this a good sign or a bad one...I was told at 6weeks my progesterone level was supposed to be at least 15 but if they didnt know how far I was and increased medication....would that have an effect on the growth or increasing of HCG levels...please help

I agree it could still be early yet. Question? if this is your first pg, why are they giving you the progesterone supps? I always thought that was for women with a history in pg. I know nothing about it as i have never experianced anything as such. Just wondering.
