Fertility after one depo provera shot

I have only gotten one depo shot July 15 2008. I am wanting to know how long this will stay in my system, and when i will become fertile again. Can anyone answer me?

It differs per woman but on average the depo shot can remain in the system for up to 12-18 months.

When I was on the depo I was told that it is possible get pregnant a month after going off but it could take up to a year.

as the above two posters have said it differs for every person. but for me i was on depo for 2 years and when i got off i went on the pill to regulate my cycles (i got my period the first month i was on the pill) i stayed on the pill for 10 months and then i got pregnant my first cycle off the pill.
