Has anyone used Black/Blue Cohosh before

It was a suggestion from my doctor, i'm 39 weeks tomorrow, he striped my membraines today. I have already researched it and he gave me info as well so I am aware of all the possibilities with these products GOOD and BAD, so please don't post negative ugly post to me I AM LOOKING FOR POST FROM WOMEN WHO HAVE USED IT not people who are against it, thank you in advance... Yes I am already having contractions and dialated

I dont know what cohosh is but after my membranes were stripped I went into labour a few hours later and had baby in the morning.  GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried it with my last pregnancy and it didn't work. I took it once an hour and it never did a thing.
With my pregnancy before that, I had my membranes stripped and that did the trick. I had her that same night. So maybe you just haven't waited long enough--and it will start soon.

I had tried black cohosh as a suggestion from my OB. The only thing it did to me was make me sleepy and tired. It didnt do anything helpful, but If you want to dilate faster and help induce your labor, try putting evening primrose oil on your cervix. You should ask the OB first, since they already stripped your membranes... But GOOD LUCK! Hopefully you'll be holding that beautiful baby very soon!

The doc stripped my membranes at 39 weeks, and I still went to 41.  Sorry to give you bad news.  I'm hoping your labour will start very soon.
