I am so confused!

I am so confused!

Ok, I had sex on October 14th, and my period was due on October 27th...I didn't start until Oct 31st...I thought everything was normal and the nausea I was experiencing was just nerves. Well, I started another period on Nov 29th, and a few days before Christmas, my breasts became extremely sore and tender and my nipples began to turn darker...not really dark, just a bit. Is it possible to be 3 months pregnant, and still get your periods...cause you see, my periods were always NORMAL!!! Now they're a bit off and before, my periods were excruciatingly painful and now they're fine. I took two preg tests before I got my period in October, one test was at a clinic...both were negative. Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

Its possible my friend had her AF thoughtout her whole pregnancy with her 2nd daughter.  If they came out neg through I wouldnt think you are pg, but if your worried take another test.  Good luck!

I actually took a test yesterday and *lucky me* the results were skewed...sort of in between pos and neg...(i'm the only person i know who can mess up a preg test...). And, I don't think I made it clear- my periods aren't *normal* anymore for me. They're what other people would consider normal, but I would consider *light*. But yeah, thanks to both of you who have commented! :)

I would take a test just to be on the safe side.  I would think that since your periods have been normal that you are not pregnant, but I had 1 period while I was pregnant with my son, and my mom had consistant periods through the entire pregnancy while she was pregnant with my sister.  So, it is possible.

I say take a test with your first morning urine.  And go with the results.  Whatever it says should be right at this point.

Good luck.

Take care,
Amanda

How far a long were you supposedly, when you took your test.  Meaning before you went to the dr., were you late, or what was the reason for the test?  Were you having symptoms?

My test kept coming back negative and I knew I was pregnant. I decided to go through the trash a few days later and there it was on both of them a definite positive. Sometimes I think it just takes some time. Have a blood test. Its covered under your insurance so you're not paying out of your pocket repeatedly. Also, take the test in the morning, when the pee has been sitting in your bladder for a while.

I went to a free pg clinic yesterday. They told me the test came back neg, but that I should go to my doctor and have a blood test...and the nurse asked me about dates and periods and stuff, and figured out that i did have sex when i was ovulating (which i already knew) but if I WERE pg, I'd be like 12 1/2 wks by now...wouldn't that show up on a urine test? Or is it possible that it couldn't?

I had felt pregnant for 2 months but got my period. Then before my period was supposed to come I still felt pregnant. I took the test 3 days before my period was supposed to come. I went to the doctor the day my period was due and the test came back positive, I was about 3-4 weeks. All the pregnancy test were negative the first time I looked at them, but when I went through the trash days later they were positive. With my first child I had a negative test in the end of September, took a blood test Oct. 13, and found out I was 5-6 weeks pregnant. I don't know how they work sometimes and not other times. I would think though if you are 3 months pregnant it would work whether or not you are bleeding. The pregnancy tests work if you are 25 on your HCG levels. When your 3 months you should be like 100,000-300,000 so it would definitely show up. I felt pregnant when I wasn't,I wonder if its your body saying its ready for a baby. My stomach was a ball before I was even pregnant and I was having all the symptoms before I was pregnant and it was only my first month off birth control. In the second month I got pregnant but lost the baby. Keep trying and every month take a test, eventually/hopefully it will come back positive.
