I have an IUD is it possible that Im pregnant

Like I said before I have an IUD ,but Im 1 week late for my period. Of course I when to the pharmacy and got a pht , the 1st one didnt give me any results at all ??? the 2nd one was positive and the last one I had this morning gave me a fade negative so what is it ?????

It is possible to get pregnant with an IUD.  My friends sister did.  I would go to the doctor and get a blood test done so you know for sure.  If you are pregnant you need to get the IUD removed.  There is also a lot higher risk for eptic
(sorry not good with spelling) pregnancy with an IUD so you need to find out ASAP.

My mistake, I meant some believe that the copper kill the sperm.

What IUD do you have? There are a number of IUDs. The one year IUD is believed to only allow the egg to not stick. The sperm and the egg meet but they do not stick. I agree with the above post. The egg could have possibly implanted somewhere else. It is possible though that the egg could implant in the right place but depending on how far you are that the Dr will decide what to do. My friend got pregnant with an IUD and after the baby was delivered, the IUD came right out afterwards. The copper IUD, some believe that the sperm kills the sperm. Every birth control is not 100%. Condoms break. Women get pregnant while on the pill. Anything can happen. Just get checked out ASAP by a DR.

I HAVE A COPPER IUD AND IM 3 MONTHS LATE GETTING IT REMOVED, CAN YOU STILL GET PREGNANT IF THE TIME HAS ELAPSED?
