Hi
I was 24 weeks pregnant and i found out that i had gotten an infection the the sac with the baby so the doctor told us that we had to go ahead and deliver I had a vaginal birth and also had a beautiful baby girl. But 8hrs later i lost here her lungs busted and she died. And now my milk has come in and i am not really sure what to do. I am really down i mean i know that you are not suppose to Question God but i am just wondering why me you know? If anyone could help me please do.

I am so sorry!!  I don't know how to help you, but i just want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I can't begin to imagine how you feel at this time.  Just try to stay strong and i wish you the best.  As far as your milk goes it should dry up on its own, but you may have some discomfort until then.  If you ever just need someone to listen feel free to PM me.  ((HUGS))

I have never had a baby. I am 22. I have miscarried recently though. I was only about 6 weeks. I can only imagine the pain you are to have actually seen your child. It brought tears to my eyes just to read your post.

For your breast milk perhaps you could pump your breast with a breast pump until it starts to dry up and maybe use nursing pads.

Oh gosh, I know you must feel horrible. Also its normal to question God...a lot of people do it even though they aren't brave enough to admit it. I just got through talking to someone on my religious views..you see i was question God also....on more than just my miscarriage....

I am so sorry for your loss.

pumping would not be a good idea, as it would tell your body to produce more milk.

i have heard cold cabbage leaves in the bra can help. when you shower be sure to have your back to the water because that can stimulate them as well. Cold compresses can help, as can wearing a tight sports bra. Ibuprofin can help with some of the discomfort. It should dry up soon.

yeah I wasn't really sure about pumping...like i said...never had a baby just a miscarriage [and i wasn't that far]. Your ideas seem to be much more helpful for Ryleesmommy

I'm sorry for your loss.

TBH is exactly right.  Tight binding, ice packs, no stimulation of the breasts, the cabbage leaves if you need them...these things should help dry up your milk within a couple of weeks.
