IUD removed, when should I get a period??

I had a Mirena IUD placed August 2009, had slight spotting the first cycle then no periods there after...not even spotting.  I had the IUD removed July 1, 2010.  I have some spotting, which I am sure is from the removal of the IUD.  My question is since I didn't have a period for about a year, when should I expect to ovulate?

i got my period a week after my iud removal last year. My periods have been irregular after that the iud so its hard to tell when you will start ovulating. Wait atleast 3 months and keep track of your period and if it comes regularly then you sheould be able to count back 14 days before your next period start day and that day is usually your ovulation day. But everyone's body is different so the best way is to do the basal body charting (BBT) to know exactly when you ovulate. Good luck! :-)
