From what I read, dizzy spells are perfectly normalNormal saline flush and have to do, mainly, with your body adjusting to being pregnant. I got them a lot in my 1st pregnancy. I would tell your OB/GYN anyway just to be on the safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex side. Take care.
I agree with the above poster. Dizzy spells get more prominent in the 2nd trimester because of the increased blood in our systems. Which is also why our blood pressurePressure ulcer can get low. When standing up or moving quickly it is more commonCommon cold and your blood pressure was probably a little lower than your body is used to.
I also had dizzy spells with both of my pregnancies but during my first and second trimester. My OB said it was perfectly normal and as the previous poster said, your body's way of adjusting to the hormonal changes. It's not fun but hey, we get a beautiful baby out of the deal :)
I've had a big problem with dehydration so far, so I know all about these lol. My doctor said that dehydration, increase in blood , standing up to quickly and blood sugar level all will cause these. I went to the ER at about 8 weeks and 14 weeks for this, they had to put me on a IV. But as long as you drink half your body weight in ounces, slowly stand, eat small meals then you should be fine. Good luck!
its normal but watch out, i ended up in the ER for passing out and actually falling out of my chair. when you feel dizzy, lie down asap and get your feet elevated.
lol that's how I knew I was pregnant. I woke up one morning so dizzy, that I felt like I was drunk, I literately walked along the wall in order to maintain my balance. I always feel sick when I get dizzy, low tolerance to the spinning sensation, anyways I woke up about 8am and it lasted till 12pm and then disappeared. Took a HPT and it was positive (was about 4 weeks pregnant at the time).
Yes-I have that happen to me. Two times I have nearly passed out and had to sit down with my head between my knees. It's normal-I assure you. I've called the OB nurses each time with it. They said it's low blood sugar or pressure. Carry a fruity snack with you to eat when you feel dizzy or faint and eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 large meals. Drink lots of water and don't let yourself get too warm. I'm sorry if I'm repeating what someone else said, I didn't really read the responses. Guess I should do that!
