My Update

As I posted before, I am pregnant with a large ovarian tumor and Graves' Disease.  Today I had my appointment with the Chief of Maternal Fetal Medicine here at Michigan's St. John's (Not sure I can list his name, but his was wonderful).  After all the stressing and worrying I did over my pending surgery I am a little more at ease.  So, I will be having my surgery at the end of February/beginning of March, with a team of doctors to include an Onocologist (Cancer Specialist) and OBGYN's.  I'm scheduled for another U/S next week to check on the tumor and on the baby (the doc says I'm 7w 4d).

Wish me luck and any and all prayers that my baby and I make it through the surgery healthy and without loss wonderful and greatly needed.

You ( and your little one) will be in my thoughts and prayers! Stay strong... and the little ones tend to be stronger than we relize! And I wish you both luck. :)

I'm so happy that you are feeling better about the surgery. It is nice to have a doctor that actually cares. I'm so glad you can be at ease. I will keep you and your baby in my prayers and of course my fingers are crossed for you and good luck! It sounds like you have a doctor that knows what he is talking about and that's always a good thing. About how far along will you be when you have the surgery? Again, good luck, and lots of prayers for you and your child. Keep us updated.

They have to wait till I am at the very least 13 weeks pregnant because the 2nd trimester is the safest time.  I am hoping more for 15 weeks though, but the doctors need to do what is best I suppose.  They'd have taken that tumor out yesterday if they could, they are just waiting for the pregnancy to be more stable.
