No Period, Brown Spotting-- Could I be pregnant?

I am very concenred I have had my period normally every 26 days for the last ten years. This time I was Late for my period for five days or so and now I have been spotting ( brownish color) for the last week. I took a at home preganancy test and t turned ot to be negative. I am very confused and can't understand why this is happening to me. Is this an abnormal period ? Or am I pregnant? Replys will be very appreciated I will be checking for replies constantly.

With my daughter i too had what seemed to be a period but a day later quickly turned brown and sure enough i was pregnant. As for the pregnancy test i would take another. Good luck:)

Sorry if this is a repeat post. I also had a period like that. It lasted for a day and quickly turned brown. It's called implantation bleeding. I then found out i was pregnant. As for the pregnancy test i would retest. If that is negative i would go to the doctor and have a blood test done. Hope this helps and good luck :)

Thanks for the reply, I just took an EPT test again--I have taken two EPT tests the turned out negative yet I still have brown spotting. Could I still be Pregnant?

I have a 26 day cycle and last month I had brown spotting for 8 days.  Unfortunately I am not pg. However, watch yourself closely because you never know you could be pg.

Do you know  why you had spotting  cause I am searching for reasons why this may have happened.

I just went to the loo & found brown spotting Im not sure if this is normal could I be pregnant? I have a 20 yr old daughter and a 18 yr old son so I can't recall if it is or not ................. Please advise when & if I should go fdor a blood test???
