Ovarian cysts????

Can you get ovarian cysts anytime during a pg???  I am having stabbing pains on my left pelvic area that cramps into in my upper thigh and groin.  Could this be what that is??  If so could it cause m/c???  I am 17 weeks and I cannot lose a baby this far along.  Please help if possible.

Chloe congrats on a possible boy.  They said the same thing to me so maybe we will have boys together.

i had a lot of cramping, stabbing pain in my first pregnancy, with no problems.  i think a lot of those pains can be ligaments stretching etc.  of course, i would see a doctor, but in my experience, pain in pregnancy is normal!!

hi, yes it is normal to get ovarian cysts when you are pregnant, my mom had 13 of them before i was born and everything turned out fine. I unfortunatly ended up taking after her, i get them very often and have had 2 of them removed. I don't think that they can cause m/c's though, but i would talk to your dr if your very concerned about it.

Hi everyone,I was just reading your comments...I am currently using vitex to treat an ovarian cyst.I have been on it four about 4 months.I have to take an ultrsound to see if it works.i read up on it and it seems to work for alot of people.Anybody knows if it works with the treatment of large ovarian cysts
