Ovulating

Is it better to BD the day before you Ovualte or on that day?  I have heard that you should BD everyother day something to do with the sperm counts????  Or should we just BD both days?

Also I took a OPK test today and according to that I am not O-ing yet.  However I have all the other signs like EWCM and some very mild cramps.  I have been testing for 5 days now and BFN on it for O-ing?  Any suggestions, comments???!!!

Hi! I am having the exact same thing today. I was just going to post! I bought a opk $ store, the test line is almost exactly the same color as control line, alittle lighter,which I guess means no o yet, but I have EWCM today. I don't know what that means either. I think though if your hubby's count is ok, you can bd every day during this fertile period. Technically speaking though, because sperm live 48 to 72 hours, everyother day would cover you. Hopefully you and I will be posting our BFP's together in a couple of weeks! Good Luck!

I think you are supposed to BD before you ovulate and when you do. We BD everyday. I think if your man has a low sperm count that you should only BD every other day. The sperm builds back up every 24 hours I believe. If you google ovulation, a lot of sites will come up. You just put your LMP in and it will claculate your fertile days. Thats what I go by. Thanks...my Dh as far as we know the sperm count is normal!1:-)  I usually use mymonthlycycles.com too. and It helped with my 1st pregnancy and The second whick I m/c however...But we are trying again!!! Good Luck to you guys!!!

I BD everyday for a week before ovulation and the day of ovulation.I used OPK and I never got a positive one!It was so fustrating trying to read them. But I got pregnant so obvouisly I was reading the OPK wrong or they just didnt work.Good Luck and try just to go by what your body is telling you. I felt Like i was ovualating and I was... *baby dust*

Make sure you take the test at the same time every day (I read 11-3 and 5-10 are the best times to take it to catch the surge). I too recommend BD every day for 2-3 days leading up to O and during O as well. Good luck! I hope to see an excited pos post from you in a couple of weeks! Hopefully mine will be shortly after! ;0)
