Please help... so worried....

Please help... so worried....

I pretty much thought I was pregnant as I had unprotected sex and then started having all sorts of symptoms and im not even trying to concieve (conceive) just yet, not married just yet, but then I started spotting, then bleeding... too painless and early for it to my period.... I am regu;ar as clockwork and super cramps galore without fail every month...

I did some tests that come back negative so went to my doctors... he examined me, the way they do when they feel to check your belly area, and when he pushed on my belly button it really kinda hurt a little... so he sent me for a blood test but im so worried that something is wrong and have to wait 5 days for the results...

does thing sound familiar to anyone or does anyone know what might be going on?

I'm really quite scared now :( xxx

It could be so many things that its almost impossible to guess.  Could be a minor ovarian cyst, some hormone imbalance, endometriosis....lots of things.

Keep following up with your doctor.  You might need other follow up testing if your pain/irregular bleeding keeps up.

Good luck.  Let us know what you find out.

Actually abdominal pain does sound like it could be a cyst or endometriosis but I think the pain would be lower than at your belly button. I actually have a hurnia(sorry if not spelled right) in my belly button that hurts when pushed on. My last OB didn't feel the need to do anything about it but the OB I have now says she might want to take it out after I have my baby, If she can do so safely without causing worse problems. Mine actually sticks out, you can see it and it looks like its getting bigger but not all stick out. I got it when having my first baby, pushing so hard to get him out caused it. I really am not sure exactly what a hernia is, I never cared to ask, but it could possibly be a hernia. Just my guess though. I'm gana see if I can find out what a hernia is on the internet.

Okay didn't get much about symptoms of a hernia so I really can't help you there...but it wouldn't hurt to get checked for one. I did find it's common it the abdominal area especially around belly button and can be caused by strain on muscles such as heavy lifting, sudden weight gain, constipation, and pregnancy. If the pain is in your belly button it really wouldn't hurt to be checked for a hernia.
