Prayers for Nathan. I have a really good feeling about this - I think this will turn out well. As awful as your situation is, and scary, I have a feeling it will turn out great.
I will definately say prayers for Nathan, I am 20 weeks pregnant and pray every day for by baby. But God blessed you with a son and he will come thru and allow him to be a blessing. Keep the faith and stay strong and BE POSITIVE
I will keep your son and family in my prayers tonight, I am sorry you are going through this and I think that you are extremely brave and wonderful to love your son and do everything you can for him. Hang in there and know that God is watching over you.
jsut wanted to let you know that we are headed up to the hospital right now, he may need the surgery tonight.if not tonight then in the morning. I'm bringing my computer wth me, so I will keep you updated.
I'm scared! He is 20 months and has had 5 surgeries so far and it never gets easier! If anything, it gets harder cause every single min I'm with him I love him more than I did!
And to you flower, how dare you!!!!! Don't you dare EVER speak of my son again. If I had the time, I would give you a mouthfull right now!!!
You are lucky that we don't live in the same town! I hope I never lay eyes on you!
Heartfelt prayers for your son and, of course, for you. May you have peace in your heart and feel the support of all of us on this site who wish you well, strength and much love.
My heart goes out to you and I know exactly what you are going through; my son has hydrocephalus and cerebral palsy and has a shunt too. I know just how scary it is to see our little ones go off for surgery; we just have to put all our faith in the fantastic neurosurgeons who do this teffiric work on our children. It sounds like you acted very quickly and I am surgery within the next 24 hours will ensure his shunt is fixed before the pressure can cause any damage. I will be thinking of you and will check in tomorrow to see how it went. Best wishes Jo.
What a strong little man you have on your hands and what a strong mother you are. I will pray for your family and I wish you the best. My heart goes out to you.

You and your famiy are in my prayers. I know two young men with shunts. One has sb and is now 24. He walks with sticks and uses a wheelchair sometimes. He has had that replacement many times. Scary each time I know.
I don't know Nathan's sb outlook, but Jeff is a wonderful young man, talented and loving. He takes vacation every summer to volunteer at a kids' camp. I have known him since he was born and he continues to amaze me with his positive attitude and his never quit attitude.
Good luck! Your situation is a hard one and it really touches my heart, you and your family have my best wishes and my sincerest admiration, It takes a brave and strong family to go through this.
Best wishes, and lots of prayers.
Love and prayers to all of you
