by swatson1982, Dec 11, 2007 07:43PM
I have a question.. What can you take for a sore throat. I am 4w and 3d pregnant and was not sure of what I can take. Thanks for the help.

Tylenol is ok...and so is honey. I have actually had to gargle with chewed up tylenol (gross, but it works) and then I take a spoon of liquid honey and let it sit on my throat. These things have really helped me this past week.

This is from the handout my OB gave me.

Cold Symptoms/Fever:

Tylenol, Regular or Extra Strength

Sudafed

Benadryl

Chloraseptic spray

Throat lozenges

Actifed

Chlor-Trimeton

Robitussin (for cough)

Tylenol Cold or Sinus

Thats exactly how it reads.  It also had a note: (call the office if you have a temperature over 100.4 for 8 hours.)  Hope this helps..feel better!

Thank you for all your help.  It was greatly appreciated. When do you usually start feeling symptoms of being pregnant. I have few of being hungary, little dizzy, and sore breast every once in a while. Plus I had two positive home tests. Thanks everyone.
