Hello ladies,
Here is an update of the latest...Went to my obgyn yesterday and we found a sac but no fetus as of yet. I am very early may be about 4.5 weeks. I also did blood work and will call this morning to find out.
I am wondering if anyone experiences menstrual like cramps and low back ache during the initial stages. Also, i am exhausted all the time and my body seems to be tired and heavy. Is this normalNormal saline flush?
Any advice or shared stories are welcome.

I am only about 5 weeks along and I've definately had the cramping and pulling. Yes, at times it feels like menstrual cramps. I have felt one or two quick twinges in my back but nothing really to note. Always ask your doctor if you are concerned about any of what you are feeling! Mine told me that what I'm feeling is perfectly normalNormal saline flush. I'm also tired and have sore bbs. Sticky baby dust to you! So you would be due around the same time as me!
Cramping can be very normal in early pregancy. I remember with my first I was sure my period was coming any moment for weeks! If the pain moves to one side only or if you have shoulder pain go to the er. Also, any bleeding should be reported to your doc. Prayers to you for a healthy pregnancy and a perfect baby.
Thank you for all the responses. I was worried about ec/preg. but since we did a t/v/s yesterday and the sac is in the uterus my doc said it was absolutely normal to cramp. he gave me an analogy of a hand that is getting bigger and bigger each week and the skin is streching...so i hope it is normal.
thank you so much for your responses.

hello, you are very early to find a fetus, actually I am surpised they found a sac already. So it looks like you are moving along great. I am 13 weeks now but like you I started having ultrasounds at 4 weeks due to complications. I too had cramping but I also had spotting. Once the spotting stopped I still had cramping and I still do now. I told the doctor I feel like I am going to get my period any second - they say it is your body stretching. They take cramps and spotting very seriously so always check with your doctor but if my experience is anything - cramping is normal and will continue :)
I have had the cramps and lower back pain in 2 of my pregnancies but the outcome was not pleasing and I miscarried at 5.5 weeks.
I've read on this site that some people get through that and everything is okay....without bleeding you should be fine.
I cramped for about 3 days and the bleeding started...spotted for 3 days and then heavy heavy flow...
My first pregnancy was fine...I did have minor cramping but not in the back at all...only for a week, but I now know the difference...cramping like menstrual cramps is different than ligament stretching cramps....you know the difference....your body will let you know
I PRAY THAT IT'S NOT THE SAME FOR YOU.....MANY HAPPY PRAYERS FOR A HEALTHY PREGNANCY.
