Surgery and Anesthesia whilst pregnant

Hi, I am scheduled for an arthroscopy in July for my knee and i am wanting to know if this is safe to have whilst pregnant. I will be almost 22 weeks pregnant. Are there any known complications being pregnant and having surgery?

You should only have surgery if it is clearly and urgently necessary, and if your OB says it is needed and safe.

I was supposed to have a tonsillectomy this summer, but my OB said no kind of invasive intervention unless my life depended on it....just not worth the risk
