My fiance and I are TTC. My periods are typically 28 days apart. I have two other children. The last few years I have brown spotting that leads up to my period. This month, I've been feeling "very pregnant".. Very nauseous,Tired, cranky, my breasts are very sore and yesterday my period was due. I woke up to very light brown spotting ( i typically get the brown spotting 3-4 days before period starts). I wiped once yesterday and saw light red/pink on the TP. This morning I woke up and had light brown flaky spotting and a little red when I wiped.. Now its just brown here and there. Does this sound like pregnancy? I took at test 2 days ago and it was negative, should I take another test? And when will it show positive if I am? Thanks so much for your help!
It sounds like you are about to get your period. It's normal for it to come a bit later sometimes, and also, starting your period can make you have all the same symptoms as pregnancy. I would wait one more week, and if it hasn't come by then, do another test.
Symptoms of pregnancy are practically the same as symptoms of pms, so it could just be that your period is about to arrive, but is just delayed for whatever reason (stress, later ovulation etc)
You could be pregnant however, could have just been that you tested to early and the hcg levels aren't high enought to be detected yet. Wait a few more days and if still no period, test again with first morning urine.
