WHEN DID YOU SEE YOUR BABY'S HEARTBEAT (VIA ULTRASOUND ONLY) FOR THE FIRST TIME??

Like most of you know by now, im awaiting the doctors appt this coming friday , to see if there will be a lil heart beat beating on the monitor. ive been in so much pain, waiting impatiently to see my baby again via ultrasound. i pray this time, his lil heart will be beating away !!!!

for those who dont know, i was told last week that im 8 weeks , but fetus looks like its 6 wks and doesnt have a heart beat...(it might be because it died 2 weeks ago) so they told me to come back to see if they can detect  a heart beat this time around , at 9 weeks pregnant !

im so worried, everyday that goes by , i want it to be friday afternoon already.

just wondering at how many weeks pregnant did you see ur baby's heart beat for the first time?

I am very sorry to hear that.  I went in for an ultrasound when I was 8 weeks because I was cramping and I thought it was ectopic.  They seen the babys heart beat then.  Unfortuantlly I did lose that baby, but I had two successfuls after that.  Good luck.

could there be a slight chance you ovulated later hence why the baby measures 6 weeks????henc e why you didnt see a hb? isaw my babys hb at 8 weeks good luck n keep us posted

i know with my middle child I didn't see/hear one until around 13 weeks.  I had an u/s around 10 or 11 weeks i think and didn't see anything so they sent me to a different clinic to have another one that's when I saw it.  

with my youngest I don't remember seeing anything at my dating u/s at 7 wks 3 days

with my first I didn't start going to the doc til I was 5 months so I can't help with that one..

this time I had u/s at 5 wks 3 days and only saw the gestational sac.  I have to wait until Jan 3rd to check again.

Good luck I completely understand what you are going through, I just m/c'd in August and now I'm sorta paranoid.

I saw the heartbeats at 7wk4days.  Good luck and keep us posted.  I will say a prayer for you!!

I saw Rory's heartbeat at 7wks 1day. Dont give up! it just might be too early to see it

7 weeks.  also over the span of 3 weeks I had 3 ultrasounds and each time they pushed its age up 2 days.  so the first time i was 7 weeks.  I went a week later and they told me 8 weeks 2 days then I went a week later and they told me 9 weeks 4 days. babies grow differently.

With my first I was able to see the heartbeat at 7wks 2 days but unfortunately did not carry that baby to term. With this one I wasn't able to get in until I was 8 weeks but we saw a very healthy baby and heartbeat! =) I hope everything goes well for you on friday! Hang in there.

Our apt is friday to find out if we are pregnant,so I know what a long wait it feels like.My thoughts and prayers are with you.I wouldnt jump to any conclusions to quickly sometimes doctors are wrong.
