Well, I took clomid on days 5-9 and bd as often as needed during that time period.
So, now it's the waiting game. I'm expecting my af on June 13th. I'm hoping I'm lucky this time arouond. From what I have read on this forum, doesn't sound like anyone had luck ttc on 50 mg of Clomid, which I was taking. Or has there been anyone? I want so bad to be pregnant, we've been trying for 8 months.
If anyone has conceived after taking 50 mg of Clomid, pleae let me know. I'm hoping someone has, because I don't want to take a higher dose. The side effects sucked!
I havent gotten pregnant yet but I have only been on it for 2 cycles. Sometimes it takes a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys longer for it to work. I havent gotten AF yet this time around, she is due tomorrow. So maybe this is my lucky time I will know more at a later date. Anyway - dont give up yet. You never know. Also, what side effects did you have?? BTW I took mine days 3-7.
I was fine until after my last clomid pill, then, the very next day, I was sooo sensitive and moody. I cried all the time over the stupidest of stuff. As soon as I ovulated though, I was back to my good old self. I never had any hot flashes like every talked about.
Yes I know, I never thought it would be this hard to get preggers again! Never thought I would have this problem. Anyway - I had the nite sweats (BAD) and some severe cramping when I Oed. Other than that I was fine. Good luck to you. i would give it one more shot since this was your first time!
Good Luck on the clomid - i would say though if it doesn't work after 3 tries speak to your dr. about trying something else (possibly letrazole). i was on clomid for 3 cycles and it didn't work for me - my dr. said usually if going to work would work during first three times and if not probably not for me and he switched me to letrazole - i got pregnant after 2 cycles (2nd with IUI), but m/c probably due to MHFTR (which just found out have) but did become pregnant. now back on letrazole and will do another iui. i do hope the clomid works for you, but just wanted to let you know that if for some reason doesn't there are other options and not to despair - i know the wait is so hard...i'm right there with you. good luck.
Just wanted to let you know your not alone in the 2ww my AF is due June 12, I'm on my second cycle of 50mg clomid, but my doc also put me on a small dose of purgoen this cycle , so hopefully it works! (we also did an IUI).My DH has fertility issues so we have to concieve through IUI, we did it once before and our DS we be 2 next month, but I didn't take clomid with him I took Femara and it worked on the first cycle. It is apperently more effective but is now know to have more side effects so it's not used as often any more.So I hope this is a lucky month for you and me both! good luck :)
Thanks everyone! I hope that the waiting game goes smooth and that all will end up good! I am thankful to hear that some do get pregnant on only 50mg of Clomid. I hope that I'm one of those lucky ones. This is my first cycle, and I have a prescription for 2 more cycles, after the 3rd, we'll see what my OBG puts me on next.

This is my first cycle of clomid, and I'm not sure I want to go on with it, but... I want more kids! My family is being very supportive, and that's a good thing, because it's a very bumpy roller coaster.
Take Care & Good Luck!!
Thanks again!
