Hello all, well I am losing weight and I am 11 wks and 2 days pregnant. I have not been sick at all and eat basically what I want, when I want. I am still losing weight. I have lost a total of about 5 lbs. Have any of you experienced this? Should I be worried? I do have a belly that is starting to pop and I'm not sure where the weight is coming off from, but I'm not sure if I should be concerned and contact my doctor or what? Any thoughts?
I have lost 5 pounds, too. I am 11 weeks today. I have been sick, but my friend did the same thing and her doctor said not to worry. I plan to ask my doctor next week, but I think it is pretty normalNormal saline flush.
I lost weight but that was due to over stimulation of the ovaries in the early weeks of pregnancy...however if you are eating well and enough food then I would just wait till your next check up cos it is not that uncommon to loss weight in 1st trimester....as I believe it is just your baby using up some of your food and your metabolism(sp?) just cant keep up as it gets faster with pregnancy.
I have lost 14 lbs since dec 27. my doc says not to worrie, that i will gain some weight soon. i am pretty sure that it was my change in eating habbits, though. I wouldnt worrie about 5 lbs. As long as your eating, you should be fine.
Yes, I was thinking the baby uses up calories, too. It sounds pretty normalNormal saline flush. I guess I shouldn't worry. I know I'll start packing on the pounds sooner or later!
I will be 22 wweeks on Friday, and my Dr. said this month and next month she expects me to be playing catchup...and I think she's right!
Good luck!
