I have blue eyes fairFair skin cancer risks skin and light brown hair (light blonde when I was a child) my mother has blue eyes and brown hair, and my father has hazel eyes and blonde hair.
My boyfriend is half Thai with tanned skin brown hair and eyes. His mother is Thai, and his father has blue eyes and fairFair skin cancer risks skin.
I know you can never be certain, I was just like to know the probability, as long as the baby is healthy I dont mind what he/she looks like!
The answer is....it could look like anything! You will never know until it is born. I am blackBlack cohosh Black draught Black haw-haired, blue-eyed, white. DH is tan skinned, south Asian with greenGreen tea eyes. I thought for sure we would have a greenGreen tea or blue-eyed baby, but instead, we got a BEAUTIFUL light brown eyed, curly haired tan skinned baby girl..it is difficult the suspense, for anyone, wondering who the baby will resemble, but you just will never know. Regardless, you will fall hard in love with the baby when you meet him or her.
i can't say what your baby will look like, but i do have to say that some of the absolutely most beautiful children i have worked with are of mixed races. they always seem to get the very best traits from each race!
I know a couple - mother is swedish, blonde with blue eyes, father is from India...their child is very fair with blondish hair and blue eyes. But then again, look at Tiger Woods' new baby daughter, she has dark hair and skin!! I guess it just depends which genes are more dominant!! Either way - all babies are beautiful!!
Okay, I was kinda bored at work when reading your post, so I attempted to do this the way I learned in biology (you know, with those little charts with the B's and b's). Don't put too much faith in my calculations, though. I haven't done this in a few years!
Given genetics for your mother and father:
M: blue eyes (represented by "bb"), brown hair (represented by "Bb"), and I'm guessing fair skin (represented by "ff").
F: hazel eyes (represented by "Bb"), blond hair (represented by "bb"), and I'm guessing fair skin.
You: blue eyes, blond hair (or light brown, but light enough to pass as blond), and fair skin.
Given genetics for your boyfriend's mother and father:
M: brown eyes (represented by "BB"), black hair (represented as "KK"), and tan skin (represented by "FF").
F: blue eyes, brown hair, and fair skin.
Boyfriend: brown eyes (he would be "Bb," as he carries the gene for blue by his father), brown hair (I put him as "BK," meaning he has the gene for black hair, which is why I put K second as he has brown hair), and tan skin (represented by "Ff").
So, what I got from my little charts (which I may not have done correctly) is a 3/4 chance the baby will have brown eyes, 1/4 chance for blue eyes. Also, I'd think there's a probability factor in the 3/4 chance for brown eyes to have hazel eyes, as hazel is a light brownish green, and you carry the gene for hazel.
I calculated a 50/50 chance of the baby having fair skin or tan skin.
As for hair color, I calculated a very small chance of the baby having light brown or blond hair. I'd say that one is a 50/50 between black and brown hair color.
So, with no official way of knowing, my best guess would be that your baby will have brown eyes, maybe hazel, and dark brown hair, and a very nice skin tone, whether it's fair or tan.
Whatever he/she looks like, I'm sure you'll be blessed with a baby that you think is the most perfect, beautiful, and cutest baby in the whole world (I know that's how I think of my son)! :-)
I have dark skin, brown eyes (dominant, everyone in my family does) and dark hair. DH is very light skinned, light brown hair and has green eyes (recessive). DD was born very light skinned with almost black hair and green eyes. Her eyes have darkened since (she's 9 months) and look almost hazel. Her skin has darkened just a little but I think it's a tan (we're outside a lot) and her hair color has lightened to very, very light brown. Go figure! It still might change.
I am half Mexican, my DH is caucasian and fair skinned. He has reddish brown hair and green eyes. DD #1 is darker than I am and stays tan all year round! DD#2 is fair skinned like my DH. Both girls though, have dark hair and dark eyes like me.
