When do I Ovulate

I have been off the pill and using condoms for a month.  My period was due to start on 2 January.  I spottted for 4 days and my period started fully on 6 January for 4 days.  Do I count my ovulation date from the 2rd or the 6th?  I guess I could just assume my most fertile days will be from the 12th to 22nd, but I was looking for something more specific.

First you need to figure out how long your cycle is. Which will be hard since you just went off bc. But if your cycle is the the typical 28 days...you ovulate around 14 days prior to your next period. Which would be around January 20th? Give or take. You can start using OPK's now and detect your LH surge...then you typically ovulate 12 to 36 hours after that.

You should class the 6th Jan as CD1!!

Thanks.  I have a 28 day cycle.  Before I was on the pil my period was regular.  Had I still been on the pill my period would have been due to start on Jan 2nd.  That's what I spotted for a few days until my period became heavier on Jan 6th.
